Usually down to personal preference and rider weight more than anything

I'm currently running 36F / 42R but I'm a relatively heavy rider

What pressure would you use on a track?

I have bt23s and used to rum 36/40 now dropped them down a bit to 34/38.
Feel its given me a bit more cornering confidence, might just be pyshcological.

I've just got a BT23 for the front and a BT21 for the rear, been advised to run them at 33psi front and 36 rear, more tread on the road.
I'm around 12 stone.

First session I went with a recommended 30/30 cold which sucked balls, 2nd session and all sessions after were 32/34!

I s'pose heat, expansion and a nice even flat service majorly changes things.
30/30 must've felt like a golf cart!

Yeah, that's why you have to lower them for track, the heat generated is incredible which rises the pressure considerably.
Only takes a couple of laps to warm up but those first ones do feel naff- slow and hard to turn in, by the end of the first session the feeling wasn't 100%, still needed to muscle the bike over for corners, so I knew I needed to increase the rear slightly. Set them to 32/34 for the next session and it felt awesome so kept it at that for the rest of the day!

Unfortunately i seem to have a slow air leak on my rear, so i range from 42 to 36 over about a week.
Thinking about it, midweek probably feels best, which is probably 38 to 40.
Luckily i have access to an airline at work so although slightly irritating it's not a major.

I have Wednesdays off, so that would work for me!  :rollin
