Bitten by the project bug
#1

I'm finally nearing the finish line of my first bike project renovation - a 2001 FZS 600 - see link below for everything I have done.

Only trouble is that I am already thinking about selling her on to make room for a new project. Is this normal?!  :rolleyes

Depends what you're looking for to fill your time.
Are you wanting to do another restore?
There's plenty of relatively cheap upgrades that can be done to our fazers, as well as some more expensive ones-  like swapping the front end, rear shock etc, the list is quite extensive.
So what are you looking to get out of it at the end, a better, upgraded fazer or the joy of rebuilding a knackered bike!?

I can only assume you've spent quite a fair penny, so many shiny new bits for which you will only lose money on if you sell it, it looks very nice, personally I'd look at further upgrades and keeping it!

Punkstig - thanks, yes I have spent a fair bit. I got a bit carried away as I was doing it for enjoyment and not to make a profit. Anyway, thanks for your advice but as I can't justify keeping two running bikes I have decided to sell. Posted in the For Sale section:
