Have a look for ASV levers - more expensive, but probably better quality overall.

If you do get them, let me know how you get on as it's something that is on my to-do list

If they were sent from china (or that general area) they always write 'gift' on the package, not once have I had to pay any duties when getting stuff from that part of the world.
If you do get stung its standard vat on top of what you've paid plus a small paperwork charge!
Some say...

Bought loads of gear from china for my bikes and all good, dont worry about customs from china never had any charges ever.America on the other hand is the one you get charged for.

Quote:Ordered, just hope customs don't try to rape me for import duty and handling fees, does anyone know at what price this applies ?They won't but TNT might. Low value for VAT free is £15. See my reply at http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,8866....l#msg88314

The 15 quid threshold doesn't apply if it is marked as a sample as mine was so add a note to your order asking them not to mark item as sample

Good point. Presumably because a 'sample' is regarded as a commercial importation rather than a personal one.
There's a couple of photos of mine fitted and an eBay link to the seller on this thread if that's any help.

Hows the adjustment of the clutch lever like? I've always found the standard lever to be too far away from the bar to my liking.

Thanks Fizzy Pies, that's good, they're a bit of yummy bling too so I think I just might!

Hi, My first ever post on here, hope it helps.
I got these levers from eBay (China) and have been using them for about three weeks. Like you I was not too sure about how they would turn out but I am more than happy with them. As for the company, I had no problems with them, the levers actually turned up 2 days before they said they would. Attached are some pics (i hope) of them on the bike. |
