Interesting new mullet he had - he went to High Beach, stood under a tree for too long. Apparently a squirrel took one look, keeled over and fell on his head. Always thought he was nuts...

Good ride back despite boring roads. Funny how you always need a piss just after you leave a service station... :rolleyes So did some "interesting" speeds on M40 - oops, XXXmph straight past a copper sitting in a layby on A40! But yellow ones are so fast, he didn't even see me Parp.

As I live in Spain went for a blast around the Jalon/Xalo valley with a mate on his GSXR 1000, he had his girlfriend on the back. I can honestly say that is the best TAILTIDY I have enjoyed following for quite some time. :rollin :rollin Lew

After two weeks being Fazerless I caught the train from Wrexham to Chester, then Chester to Abergele to pick up the repaired machine from Woods Motorcycles. Rode home via Denbigh, Ruthin, Nant y Garth pass. Wonderful to be reunited again. I've been riding the XJ 600 in the meantime where the biggest difference, (apart from the power), is the lousy braking. The reason the Fazer was at Woods was that I had parked it at the top of the Sychnant Pass, went away for 30 minutes and found it lying on it's side. Bent clutch lever, bent handlebars, damaged crash bobbin, various scratches and scrapes. Worst damage was the large dent in the tank caused by the handlebars. The tank has been sorted and resprayed, also the fairing and seat unit. The work was done by J and S Race Paint who are based near Bethesda, and they have done a great job.Woods have replaced all the damaged parts so I'm back on the road again. I'll be out for a good ride up the coast tomorrow

Went out for a loop past the 'Golf Balls', Sun Inn and then Beckwithshaw. Sunny, beautiful countryside, cracking roads. Bestest rideout yet. :lol Had to bump start the little minx tho. New battery got to be done over the winter. On Optimate now ready for next time.
