dyno results at the farmyard rally
#1
put the fazer on the free dyno at the farmyard party rally. i think these back of the van dynos are a bit on the high side, but then again good result! the dyno bloke said the power delivery is spot on, no dips etc. just had the bike full monted ivanized by mike its running great. 148bhp :eek

i'm happy that you're happy.
what exhaust are you using?
somehow your bike is producing more power than a fully akra'd bike set up by ivan himself, congrats.
for a road bike, the most important line on a dyno is the fuelling, which seems to be missing from your readout, the rest is just numbers that can be 'tweaked' Wink

just looked at the torque numbers..........you've got more than a hayabusa..............impressive!

Note that the torque & bhp graph lines should intersect at 5250rpm but they don't.  The torque graph line is overlaid incorrectly. Smile

The best results I've seen and which I would consider acceptably accurate are 140bhp and 78ftlbs torque.  Those numbers were achieved under perfect conditions from a really strong motor.

What SLG said about the a/f trace being the most useful part of a dyno readout is very true.  That said, every owner I know of who has had their Full Monty'ed Fazer dyno'ed has reported back that the a/f trace was near perfect across the rev band.

If it feels good, bobdog, that's the main thing to hang yer hat on. Smile

yeah feels great mike Big Grin  i know its not 148 its probably mid 130s ive had bikes ( and still have one) with over 150 horse but the fazers running spot on, any slight dip or rise on that graph is cos the papers creased Big Grin . was nice to compare to some of the other bikes on the dyno, 2 zzr 1400s 189 and 191
gsxr1000 165,  zx9r 144  older zx9r b 133 a 12i6 bandit  133 cbr600 108 busa 185 then the best i saw a new zzr1400 with only the exhaust changed 213!!!!!!. so in all the fazer wasnt to bad Wink
