Rode to Brentwood to meet two other Foccers.
Then blast up the A128 and B184 to Safron Walden for cup of tea and some coke. On route we got stopped by Essex Bike Safe and given free burgers and coffee while our bikes had a rest.
Then B1053 and B1054 to Steeple Bumpstead.
Then B1057 back to Gt. Dunmow and back to Brentwood via the B184 and A128.
Then back home to sunny SE London.

In all a cracking ride out with free food, super twisties and good company.

Lots of you Kosmic but sadly the fat-fingered cameraman failed to capture anyone else. Exup for instance. Apologies...
It's about a billion GBs so if anyone knows how to post footage of a blue FZS following a Silver FZS let me know...

Hey Steve and Adrian did u think we were gonna get fine/points when the copper first waved us down? I did until we saw the other side of the treeline. We were hammerin it up to that point on the A128 and were lucky we got stopped just after the roundabout. If they'd been further down that straight we'd have been fooked. (And not doin bikesafe). Been told by a few lads at work u can check their website and see when they r aboot and that they normally wait further up that road b4 the "bike deaths on this road" sign.

Nope  Big Grin

I knew they were lurking somewhere as I'd been given advance warning by an on coming car driver.

Wink

37mpg!!! That's what I worked out from fuelly after my mods and best remap. It was a spirited ride to my dads and back in the lakes, so I thought I'd take a bimble out to beacon fell just to see what she could do in touring mode.
48mpg!!! Holy sh#t that's better than I got with a standard bike. And now she's miles better!
The scenery was also awesome.

As I've not had a bike for long whilst living in Oxfordshire, did a bit of exploring today. there are some nice roads around the Marlborough Downs, Chippenham, Devises, Avebury, West Kennet etc. Well suited to the thou; winding fast A roads, twisty sections with ups and downs and (for the most part) good road surfaces. A bit sticky out today but fine once moving - add a bit of long awaited sunshine and music on the MP3, just what I needed and has cheered me up no end!  Smile Smile

Got the carbs balanced yesterday, and got Iridium plugs fitted, and good grief does it show!! Bike now runs smoother than Gershwin sliding down a greasy pole on a toboggan (to mix your metaphors). So smooth!  :lol :lol
