Bought it! 
Picked it up from my local Honda dealer (was a part-ex to clear), and my first post-test ride on a big bike was a blast along the M6 straight to work!
And it's shaping up to be one of the best decisions I've made. 
Broken, bruised, forgotten, sore,

Unfortunately I'm still at work so haven't had chance to take any. Will do first thing tomorrow though.

Those red foxeyes are lovely looking bikes. Nice one.
Just tested the fz1 after my sub throttle plate fitment and map uploads.
It just started raining, and I couldn't wait to test her out. The result is.......
HOLY SHAMOLY!!! Wheelspin in third on 1/2 throttle!!!! And that's feeding the power in!!!
Power starts to climb rapidly from 3k, and I couldn't go too heavy on the throttle as she kept squirming the rear tyre!
She feels more like my old R1 now, violent! Highly recommended gen 2 owners 8)

Fitted a set of crash bungs, hope i never need them but you never know.
Nobody is perfect, but being Scottish is a start
Fitted Renthal bars and Goodridge Stainless hoses. What a work up that was, bloody choke lever. I've had it out before and knew I'd have fun and games. Not got around to bleeding them yet though?

Rode to work hoping my holding back issue had gone  I started looking for the fault but it's beer o'clock now 
purchased it
Rode it to my dads house in Barrow-in-furness from Blackpool. Tested 3 of my new fuel maps over the course of the journey, and oh my god! The bikes now a rocketship! (licence is a gonner here)
