Met some Lambretta riders and headed to a cafe in Sheff then lost 25 of them as I went the oppersite direction from cafe and had no idea where they were going. How hard can it be to loose 25 Lambretta riders :o

FPMSL Some times you have to just loose some two wheeled riders but on other occassions its noce to socialise. I was taking photos of the group and just before they set off I went for the bike and then they were gone.

Today I first went to Doncaster then changed my mind on arrival and headed for Scarborough but ended up in Skegness in search of Zedonk but they must have been on a day of rest as they were no where in sight. It was a fantastic day on the :faz but know I is awaiting the :uhuh from her in doors as I said I was popping out for a pint of milk :evil

Went out for a run this evening with a few mates on a Varadero 1000, 1200GS and Blackbird. Did about 70 miles round from Dunmow down to Epping and back
suspected shagged front bearing
took front wheel off and discovered shagged front bearing
broken tang on speedo drive
left hand calliper doing all the work, pads nearly on metal. Right hand side only half worn.
hooray i got my bike back from the menders at last. new t bar and fairing and mirror only the fazer stickers missing. i had a bimble down to alton for a bit of a test ride and after a bikeless month it felt great.
New BMC air filter turned up today with the extra long bolts for my fat bar risers. Just waiting for the two brothers juicebox to come through then I can do the airbox mod/ais mod, trim the flies, and remap all at the same time. Them its playtime! >
Put newly painted wheels complete with waves discs back on, I am sooo pleased with the result, should get some more deliveries today, will put up a pic when it's complete
Visit to physio at the hospital this morning, couldn't wait to get home and get out on a lovely warm day. Left at 11-15 am, Wrexham-Bwlchgwyn- Llandegla-Nant y Garth pass-Ruthin-B5105 to Cerrigydrudion-Pentrevoelas- turn right,up the B5113, fork left onto B5427 to Llanrwst, right onto the A548 to Abergele, lovely road, good surfaces, lots of bends, great scenery. Stopped for a snack at the Whistlestop Cafe in Rhuddlan, then home via St Asaph-Denbigh-Ruthin-Nant y Garth-Bwlchgwyn. 104 miles in total.Just finished removing all the dead insects on me, the bike ,and the visor, ready for tomorrow. Saw quite a few bikers, but no foccers in sight.
Stuck my tax disc on too. Then I got a posties note through the door saying my juicebox had arrived from USA. But I could only have it if I paid the £35 duty fee!! Gutted, yet elated that its finally got here. Can't fit it tonight either as I'm working nights :'(

What is a juice box apart from catching the juice out of my freshly squeezed oranges!
Its an alternative to the power commander, but it can store up to 10 different maps, and its a bit cheaper.
The result from the ride out is impressive! Better mid range throttle response, feels like it pulls a bit harder at 7k plus. And then there's the induction noise!
Did a refill after 105 miles, and according to fuelly it returned 41.7 mpg!!! That was 'spirited riding'. Not bad for a gen 2. All I need now is a decent fuel map that will support the trimmed flies mod.
Any takers??? :
