I could look into some routes I've used in the past in Essexs/Suffolk area, finish point depends on how many miles people are comfortable with doing in a day, promise no A12. Suggest start point the Tea Hut in Epping.

Thats' if you can trust a newbie to your group Wink

Shh you! I'm hiding Tongue Besides, I'll be away this month and won't be around to organise anything haha (still going to turn up though Big Grin)

The A12, north of the M25, is truely atrocious though - its such a bad road surface, especially for two wheelers

Local knowledge is indeed handy but unfortunately I don't have much of that for these roads as I've only been living here for 9~ months and only out and about for about 5 of those - most of that mileage is out with the london foccers Smile

I did the support ride for this each year-

http://thetipplerun.blogspot.co.uk/
(Unfortunately there isn't one this year  :'( )

Have a look at the 2010 map, Point B to Point C was day 2, the roads are pre ridden and enjoyable, obviously they can be altered for a meet up point and a Finish point.

To be honest at this moment in time I would not remember the exact roads we took and I can't easily programme this into the satnav I have on iPhone so am not volunteering to lead the group, however if I do join in I'd happily play 'sweeper' like I do on the tipple!

Hopefully this works too-

Cromer and Holt I know well - went to school there. Can be pretty - but I found it rather uninspiring myself!

Right then...

After carefull consideration and discussion with my oracle (her indoors) I now have a day pass for this ride out, but will probabley be only going as far as King's Lynn. From there I'll head back to the big smoke via A10 and M11.

Anyone meeting up at Blackheath for this?
Some say that he eats habanero chilli peppers dipped in oil of capsaicin for extra bite and that his pyjamas are made from Nomex. All we know is, he's called Ad the Bad
