Replaced the scabby scratched oil pump cover with a nice (cheap) new shiny one from evilbay. 10 minute job.
Then cleaned some of the dead beasties off the front plastics ready for the next rideout.
If you worried about falling off your bike, you'd never get on.
Gave all the plastics a polish and the black bits some back to black polish, nice and shineyer now, small run tomorrow hopefully.

Bought it !
Picked it up this morning. 2007 FZ1-S ABS. only mods are touring screen, yamaha belly pan and twin headlight mod ( if the 2007 wasn't fitted with it from the factory?)
Out again early tomorrow before the roads get busy.

checked and adjusted tyre pressure, returned forks to standard settings, lubed chain, brimmed the tank and cleaned my visor in readyness for tomorrows BOTW ride/meet ....no time to wash and polish so might let the side down a bit :o

I let a mate posse on the bike so he could have photos of him a machine he dreams of having but needs to get his licence first. We were rather pissed after a night on the giggle juice

Took the wheels out to go and be painted tomorrow ( after an early morning blast of course )
Met some Lambretta riders and headed to a cafe in Sheff then lost 25 of them as I went the oppersite direction from cafe and had no idea where they were going. How hard can it be to loose 25 Lambretta riders :o

Easiest way to go fast........don't buy a blue bike
Just home from weekend visit to mid-Wales. Fantastic ride down the A483 to Builth Wells then cut across minor roads to Painscastle, Hay on Wye, Hereford & Worcester. Met a bunch of guys at Tenbury Wells on way down yesterday & at bikers café @ Crossgates car park was full of bikes of every type. Good road surfaces Only downside was some poor guy got hit by a car today between Hay & Hereford-we didn't stop as there were people administering first aid and controlling traffic. Ride safe!
'Stubbied' the Scorpion end can and oh my god does it sound awesome!

Daz Why would u want to follow a bunch SLOW scoots?
Just flapping about on this stagnant little pond on the outer rim of the internet.....yup.... :-))
Changed my coolant, serviced exup valve, fitted indicator buzzer that cancels when brakes applied.
Cos I leave them on at least once a ride, LOL.
