Went for a blast  yesterday on 600 am then took the thou out pm to blow the spiders out!
Today was round Worcestershire highways & byways-fantastic weather & plenty of bikes  out-didn't see any Fazers though!

It is indeed the presselis, right on my doorstep, a lovely little road that im becoming quite used to now on the bike.

Are you local dave?, was good yesterday went up the coast as far as aber, through devils bridge, rhayader, buith wells llandovery carmarthen then home & seen quite a few fazers although the member map suggests theres not many fazers in south wales so ill need to get a hold of some flyers 8)

No Noggy. I used to deliver to your part of the world every week for 7 years from my base in Brum-furthest up that road was Crymych & Eglwyswrw(still cant pronounce that one!) My partner lived in Swansea so most weekends I was around Gower and over towards Carmarthen-and of course we would catch the ferry from Pembroke to Rossslare for our forays to the Emerald Isle.
saw your pics of Aberaeron & Devils Bridge. Two years ago was stopping in Llandrindod Wells & went up head of Elan Valley to DsBridge on mountain road & sat on beach @ Aberystwyth eating ice cream & admiring bikes & scenery.
hope to be doing similar next weekend if weathers kind :lol

Nice one dave, you're a well travelled man, went to the Ellan valley dams last year on the bike, very nice,im not welsh but i have covered most of wales now & north wales is very much on the cards again soon although i do worry about the number of police speed cameras & such like.

Ive also never been up round hollyhead or llanberis yet.

Or ireland actually

Plenty time though, still got a little bit of youth on my side.

Well yesterday, but ...

Took my FZS100S over to Oulton Park and back via Skipton and Colne. Lovely weather. Great ride. Home in time for a BBQ.

Big Grin

Had to fill up on the way back.  :'( I reckon 200 miles.

Went for another run. think that's 6 days in a row. Everyday since its mot, making up for lost days earlier in the year. haha!

Here's a pic taken at a place called sandwick looking out to an island called Mousa. in the shadow of a hill where I'm parked but you can see the gorgeous sun we've been having the last few days!

Left at 11-30am, Wrexham- Nant y Garth- Ruthin,(rendezvous with Trev on his FZ6) - Denbigh- St Asaph- Rhuddlan. Stopped at the Whistlestop Cafe ( HQ of the Whistlestop Motorcycle Club ) for dinner, Abergele- Colwyn Bay. We spent a couple of hours sitting on the prom, drinking coffee and eating teacakes. Police controlling traffic just before Llandegla on the way home. Debris on the road and at least two motorbikes being put on a recovery truck. Hope that there are no serious injuries.

I rode my FZS1000 617 miles back from Germany, all in one go and only stopping for fuel. I stepped off without any cramps or aches when I got home. Although right now I have a hissing in my ears from long stints of 120mph on the autobahns etc. (yes I do wear earplugs but they can only do so much)
Great fun and a great bike.
