yesterday went for a 60+ mile ride north of Birmingham past Lichfield & towards Ashbourne. Today rode to the Bikefest at RAF Cosford north of Wolverhampton-lots of bikes there including a good show of Fazers young & old. The little 600 is a joy to ride & so good on fuel :lol . Have got a few more service jobs to do the next week or so-waiting for the 12mm sprocket, nut & tabwasher ordered from my friendly local main dealer Thursday. Will definitely be changing the original rubber brake hoses for braided. Next ride out its "Big Reds" turn as shes sulking in the shed :'(

Rode from Reading to Silverstone (via the A4074 - surprisingly great little rode for the most part).
Then got off my 2000 plate Fazer, and jumped on a brand new Kawasaki ZX6R 636 for a test ride! ![]() I'm a little ashamed to say that I didn't really want to get back on my Fazer after a blast on that fine piece of machinery... ![]()

Did not make it out in countryside today on bike due to ear infection as it turns out my balance is not its best when on my metal steed, so only a little bimble round pothole spotting. Its a national sport you know

I have a lovely 20 mile run to work with 10 miles of semi empty motorway and get there at 0530 for the day shift (1730 for nights) and am bouncing around like Tigger. All my cager work mates shout abuse till i've calmed down. My night shift is a pain though, as when i get home i can't sleep till the adrenalin has worn off. Mickey

After spending all afternoon driving round each loacl roundabout 3 times, and failing to get knee down (I blame the tyres), I went to a semi-empty carpark, played around with some slow speed stuff and some wheelies. :lol :lol
