Fair play to the guys that ride all year coz they want to or even need to but i don't think theres any shame in leaving in the shed if you've got a nicer option.
Theres a saying in the army that any old fool can be cold & wet, theres nothing wrong with using the best option you've got under given conditions.
Well thats my excuse for being a summer gimp anyway :lol
Easiest way to go fast........don't buy a blue bike
£400 a month on the train or 6 quid a day on the bike.
Yes, I'm a bit of a cheapskate!
I've got a car that I use twice a week to chauffeur my daughter about but the test of the time im on my. Bike why pay for insurance and tax if ya don't use them my car and bike use roughly same amount in fuel but I get more smiles out of my bike :lol
When I lived down south I rode all winter. Now I'm up in the frozen north my hardcore biker aspirations are trumped by my southern softy side :\
