Took the Fazer out for the first time since last October. 150 miles of smiles Smile and it was good to be alive!!

At the bike park in Rye a woman pillion loudly proclaimed "where were all these bikes all winter".
I bit my tongue.

I've been thoroughly softcore this winter, preferring the car with its lovely warm heaters. Bliss!  8)

Fair play to the guys that ride all year coz they want to or even need to but i don't think theres any shame in leaving in the shed if you've got a nicer option.

Theres a saying in the army that any old fool can be cold & wet, theres nothing wrong with using the best option you've got under given conditions.

Well thats my excuse for being a summer gimp anyway :lol
Easiest way to go fast........don't buy a blue bike

If I had a car, I'd have still taken the bike all year round. There's only 2 weeks of the year where I `can't` take the bike to work. every  minute in the saddle is a minute well spent in my eyes.Big Grin it's still bloody freezing though!!!!

When I lived down south I rode all winter. Now I'm up in the frozen north my hardcore biker aspirations are trumped by my southern softy side :\
