Hi from Yorkshire

Hi,

Just picked up my 1999 Fazer 600 today, got a couple of questions.

My clocks are in KM, can I just plug in a set in Miles and it will work correctly?

The rear brake has a lot of movement before engaging the brake. Is this common, or can this be simply adjusted?

After riding home in the dark my first job is the headlight mod and some brighter bulbs!!

Cheers
Mike

Hey,

Welcome to the forum!

Loads of help on here, have a search and you might find what your looking for and if not then ask away! The rear brake sounds like it possibly needs bled.

It wouldn't be fun if it was easy, I just wish it wasn't this much fun.

Thanks for the link, will check that out now.

I've already printed off details for the light mod and which bulbs to buy Smile

Home is Halifax but I'm at York University so spend a lot of my time in York, and come August I'll have a garage in York too so can bring the bike with me!

Thanks,

I've found a couple of posts which suggest swapping them should work. I think I'm just going to fit mph clocks and then test it against a friend who can act as pace bike to make sure it is correct.
