In case you need anything, or want to drink beer!  Smile
My english is fluent, but sms is about 100 times cheaper probably. I'll be at the northern terases during the match (Scots will probably be in the southern).

Now, this might sound like your mother, but that stadium gets VERY windy often and cold - temperature is around freezing on matchday, plus wind. I always bring one, or two more layers of clothes, than I would wear for a normal walk outside. Jumping does help, but sometimes you get held up for about an hour after the match, waiting for the police to escort oposing team supporters.

Local brandy is a must to try. "RAKIJA".  Keeps you warm and makes you go mad and want to fight, so be careful. Smile
Apricot rakija is the nicest, plum raija is the most popular (traditional) and quince is for gods but pubs never sell the real stuff so avoid it (you get sugar, alcohol and artificial aroma, no matter how much you pay).

Here's the venue:

Home of the FK Vojvodina from Novi Sad. One of the oldest clubs in the country.

Everything except books should be cheaper here than in the UK. Alcohol and tobacco paradise!

You can't bring lighters to the stadium, any metal objects. Funny cigars are illegal and you can get arrested, but if you don't carry anything on stadium entrance, no one will check later.

City center worth visiting (pubs, restaurants):

Symbol of the city, Petrovaradin fortress (although it is across the river, in the city of Petrovaradin):

Our defence has decent players, Kolarov, Subotić and Ivanović, goalie Brkić is OK, but the rest of the team is mostly unknown even to us. Where did Mihajlović find those players? Nope, never heard of them.  I expect Scotland to win, even though it's an away match. Serbian team is like some people gathered from schoolyard - no teamwork, strange selection of players. Mihajlovic is one of my all time favourite players, but a very poor national team coach. Draw would be nice, while a home win would be a dream considering recent form.

Did you see Scotrank on Friday night, first half was a joke second half was just not funny. Our so called experienced players need to take a good look at themselves, couldn't hold their own pish never mind a football.

Nice write up cheers  Smile

Very nice bunch of Scotts came to Novi Sad. Just great cheering, and lots of drinking. And they endured all that weather with shaved legs! Smile

Cleared snow of the field (Serbs ARE the laziest):

Match was AWFUL. Both teams were like lost in space. We were more lucky though. Bane Ivanovic and Dušan Basta were the only two guys playing football last night.
