I've been riding bikes since I was 12 and this is my first every big bike.

Cheers people. Yea she been well kept I've only had it week.

Don't know if this is common but when you have the lights on and heated grips it seems like the bike can't handle all the power that being used. But if I just have one thing on its fine and holds yhe charge in the battery.

That could be to do with the way the grips are wired in. Did you install the grips or were they on it when you got it?

They was on it looks like the live wire has been wired to the headlight.

I think that is quite a common way people do it. I'm no expert so can't give you any advice how to sort it but have a search about sure it's probably been covered before.

I may have a dodge battery or just the bike can't handle the power thats being used.

Could be, if you have a battery charger that can condition the battery, like an optimate charger, then you could check that your battery isn't on its way out.
