Wanted - Fazer 600 2000-2004

Hiya, just about to settle an insurance claim and have a decent budget, would like to replace my SV650 with a Fazer 600, Foxeye would be preferred but i like the mk1 as well.

seem to be very few of them around Devon and Cornwall for sale though

Providing you're not obsessed by looks, a minty, revised Mk1 model (2000/2001 with preload caps on the forks) could be the real bargain. Despite this, there's very little difference between the earliest & last versions of the bike, apart from later bikes having slightly larger fuel capacity (and tank range), although even the earliest model with the smallest fuel tank could run to about 200 miles.

Thanks for the welcome, I have a budget of around £1600 and i'm not massively fussy about looks as long as it's cleanish. I originally wanted a Fazer 3 years ago when i bought the SV650,  but there wasn't many around then either apart from a couple gold ones, and that is the one colour i can't stand the bike in.

Now the SV has been crushed by a woman reversing into it while it was parked. It's time to go Fazer hunting once again.

No longer looking now, Brighton was a bit far away, sorry mate. Ended up with an 05 plate Kawasaki Z750. The Fazer will have to wait for another day.
