It was okay. Not very busy so plenty of time to sit on the bikes. I did part with some cash for new leathers at a good price, but £19 entrance and £10 to park the car........a bit steep.
Would I recommend going? It's nice to have so many different bikes in one place to look at, and sit on. However, I travelled 200 miles round trip, don't think I'll both doing it again ( having been a regular attender for a number of years). Food expensive and not particularly good, so take you own. Deal's to be had if you're looking for new kit and prepared to do some bartering.
Only my opinion, my mate, who hadn't been for a number of years had a higher opinion of it than I did. So, it's a case of 'pay your money and take your chance'.  Wink

Hmm, just checked the price for Portsmouth to Caen for Magny Cours WSB weekend. I've already booked LD Lines, thought Id missed out, but LD Lines return is £66 or £141 with cabin. Brittany is £118 or £173 with cabin before discount. Shame LD Lines dont sail to more places, the ferry itself, the quality of the ferries has improved in the past couple of years as well.

Have to agree, LD ferries has always been cheaper for me, even with the Britt Ferries discount.
Some of the LDlines ferries are a bit ryanair, but get you there usually on time. Also going to Le Harve is just as good as Caen for the onward trip.
It is possible if you know someone with an address in France to get a discount code for Britt Ferries which generally gives you much cheaper cabins and sometimes free meals, but LD still beat them for journey only trips. The joke is that on the Britt ferries boats I have been on they put the bikes between the large supporting posts in the middle of the ferry so taking up no car spaces and still charge you over half the cost of a car space!!

Agree, LD Lines are always cheaper than Brittany so I generally use LD Lines. Just thought the discount code is there if anyone wants to use it, which I'm glad to see someone has.  Big Grin

Unfortunately LD Lines don't go Plymouth / Brittany or UK / Spain ( but they do go France / Spain ).  Wink
