fatbars/mounts/stainless bar ends
#1
fatbars removed from new ktm. 672 bend, pre filled at factory with anti vibe silicone. as new and straight....bar mounts..polished alu with stainless bespoke cap heads, designed to fit straight into existing bar mounts utilising oe bolts. bar ends are stainless expanding type (high quality, heavy, expensive) taken down on lathe to fit fatbar internal diameters.
look absolutely pukka fitted, but i prefer the less sporty position of the standard bars so stuck with them, albeit widened.
everything as good as new and ready to fit, ktm bars undrilled and uncut

These are lovely but I want to keep a more relaxed position for commuting and touring.

Good luck with your sale?

cheers mick, im the same mate, they look so good fitted but i do love that natural oe riding position for general hooning. if they dont sell its no real hardship they can go back into one of the sheds, there will be summat in me garage someday they'll go on, if not mine me sons. or mebbe even me grandsons, if bikes are still legal in the future.. What interested me is the anti vibe silicone.  Is that the same as bathroom silicone?  My bars vibrate like he'll at motorway speeds. I'm gonna probably fir 758's one day but might fill them with silicone if it works?

i think so. though i tried it in some renthals i fitted to a zrx12 i had years back and it didnt work particulary well, even with heavy bar end weights, if i was keeping the fatties id tap a thread so i could use the aftermarket stainless heavy standard fazer thou ones, there a good heavy weight.
the only reason i think the anti vibe fill in these bars is a ktm filled jobbie is its bright orange lol

When I bought my Fazer it was fitted with R+G bar ends which look quite light although I've not weighed them? Maybe that's why my hands are numb after a few miles?

id say almost deffo. if you still have the inserts to take the oe ones id get some stainless heavies of e bay for twenty quid plus postage, that would make a huge difference. i'll post a link to the yzf750s i got if it helps. if you just wanna try and see if heavier weights do make a difference before you buy ill post you my old ones on a lend to try Smile

I'm not sure if there are any inserts in the bars,  I'll have to look next time I'm off work. If I have any I'd love to try your weights,  thanks.
