Opthalmologist?
#1
Anyone know of a website that provides info and Customer reviews of Opthalmologists in defined areas?

Need to find a new one and haven't got a clue where to start looking.

Not interested in going to high street opticians as all that silly reading charts and trying different lenses for 10 seconds doesn't work.

You need an Optometrist (proper optician) if you want your eyes testingĀ  and glasses

Optometry is a health care profession concerned with the health of the eyes and related structures, as well as vision, visual systems, and vision information processing in humans. Optometrists are trained to prescribe and fit lenses to improve vision, and to diagnose and treat various eye diseases

An ophthalmologist is a specialist in medical and surgical eye problems. Since ophthalmologists perform operations on eyes, they are considered to be both surgical and medical specialists.
