high mileage :rollin got the bike with 67k on the clock had it for 9 months and now  on 76k  :lol  if there nothing wrong with the bike then do not fix it mine runs fine give it a tart up with some paint if it need s to be done and get shut of any rust.

I was in two minds to change for a lower mileage bike but the mechanic I take it too said wots the point is there any thing wrong  with the bike now temping fate saying this  :lol but its mechanic soundand dose not look like a shed after I gave it a tart up  I have seen bike with 21k on the clock with a hole lot of problems and even fzs600 with 24k and 36k on the clock and they need engine work doing
full licenses don't come in cornflake packets!

You would be wasting your cash because there would be nothing to recondition, except maybe replace the cam chain.
If its running ok then leave the engine intact.
Give a major service which should include the following:
Check the tappats, (vital) change the fuel, air and oil filters and change the oil, coolant and brake fluid.
I have seen these engines run to over 100000 miles, mine has just turned 72000 miles.
