Fairy liquid and warm water is all I've ever used......... Nothing like clearing a flies graveyard off your lid lol
Your never too old to learn something stupid
Vinegar and water is good.
:agree
Works neatly. Minimum effort, time and visor scratching.
Most things done in a hurry need to be done again - patiently.
:agree .........yep me too
Whenever a bug splats on my visor, I remove the visor, throw it away and fit a new one.
Which reminds me - the ashtray is full in my Bentley...
I soak some kitchen roll with glass cleaner and place it over the visor evenly and leave for 5/10 mins then wipe clean works every time.
Dunky................

Hi
Baby wipes are brilliant
ATB YFM
Another supporter of the damp kitchen roll soak technique here.
If the visor's greasy I'll use washing-up liquid... salt is soluble so doesn't scratch the visor. (The reason you don't use it on vehicles is that it accelerates rusting.)
Soap, on the other hand, can deposit calcium carbonate (same stuff as in abrasive creme cleaners) if you have hard water, which will leave smears or cause scratches.
with the weather forecast for this week been good I think this is some of the best advice I ever seen
thanks
It ain't what you ride, it's who you ride with!!!
I use baby wipes too, they just work and will clean your helmet, hands, face etc if needed. Keep a bag under the seat.

One, is never going to be enough.....
Yes, tongue. You don't need food when traveling. Bring water for drinking and eat pure protein off your visor!
Most things done in a hurry need to be done again - patiently.
