My vote goes to KK - best design by far - neat and clean with the company name very clear

Its a close run thing this Rob's and KK's are really appealing yet there's aspects of them all which appeal...while I had thought the colour element should be in the upright of the K I like the way they have used background - If Robs K2 were sat in KK's background  with 'K2 contracts Ltd.' the way KK has done it..I think it would be pretty much parfait.. What do you guys think...should I have an all comers poll and a slab of beer to the winner?...Admins is that ok?

Probably, I'll have a go when I get in tonight as the file's on my home computer. Which design do u mean? Do you want the corners of the coloured block rounding off?

I was going to post last night that DryRob's second visual looked pretty good but IMHO needed some tweaking with regards to fonts/Typeface... Didn't feel it was my place to say though. But now you ask I'll give my two penith. Anyway good effort matey.

I also liked the hanging '2' very clever.

Sometimes with design briefs like this it's good to know the nature of the business so that adaptations to fonts and layout can be incorporated into the logo, almost there to tease and entice.

So, a create of beer each for me and Rob then. Mind you we are talking about Trev  :pokefun
Some say that he eats habanero chilli peppers dipped in oil of capsaicin for extra bite and that his pyjamas are made from Nomex. All we know is, he's called Ad the Bad

I think that may be a fair outcome Adrian x

The poll at home has a dead heat but interestingly when is shoed my daughters they migrated to KK's ...so there's something there that has impact and I have to try to understand what it is about Robs which immediately caught my eye....The Hanging 2 is funky....you guys are clever has to be said..as are all other contributors of course.
Business is humble
Bathrooms, Kitchens Insurance restoration works and Facilities Maintenance.

K2 is synonymous with the mountain we have to climb (it's more difficult than everest) The original concept was that we would concentrate on bathrooms when we decided we would do Kitchens too (K2) The average install only value for a customer supplied fitted kitchen is approximately £2K...

Very clever with the naming, I didn't make the numerous connections to be honest but the mountain bit sounds apt. Thanks for the comments, I think it’s interesting to see different interpretations and I really liked the snaking 2 in KK’s. I've thickened the type out as requested and am still flogging the second design like a dead horse...

That looks the berries Rob...I Like the dead horse one but from the point of view of corporate wear etc it's more difficult to recreate  than 'hanging 2'  I can see applications for all three though Smile

If you PM me an email address I'll send the file with all the designs over to you for use in letterheads, receipts, written quotes etc. I don't know if a graphics company will be able to use them in their current format for vinyl or clothing but you'd expect them to be able to reproduce whichever one you choose.

Good luck with the business anyways

I'm cutting vinyl for vehicles at the moment, but on a small scale, and you apply it yourself, i am hoping to go off on a course for vehicle vinyl next year to learn the gentle art of application and full wraps but i can do basic veihicle vinyl, and also magnetic sheet vinyl

Laura...I used to install vehicle vinyl back in the 80s when it was cool to have one's XR3i in gradient fade 3m etc....A whole wrap (There's an M&M joke in there somewhere) would be beyond me but I would love to be able to...
