hand guards on gen 1

hi all anyone put set off hand guards on gen 1 1000 are they any good or bad news on them  Wink

I did consider fitting handguards but with 758's and a Puig screen I figured there'd be major clearance issues, so gave up on the idea.
Whizz kid sitting pretty on his two wheeled stallion.

I use Barkbuster Storms throughout the winter. Work a treat but does affect the turning circle.  Only an issue at slow speed manoeuvring and shunting. I find folding in the mirrors when shunting takes away most of the restriction.

I've got Suzuki dl650 handguards on mine they look standard and fit really well just about touch the screen on full lock

I have had them on my gen2 for a couple of years, fantastic in cold or wet, actually they are boxed up and forsale now

I second that. I've got Barkbuster Storms on my gen2 . No problems with them hitting the screen and they keep your hands toasty & dry.
