I have this set of colbolt drill bits
http://www.toolstation.com/shop/p94153?table=no but most of them are now blunt.
Can someone recommend a sharpening gizmo to re grind them, I do have a bench grinder and stone but I can never seem to get the angle right.
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.
I assume you have a pedestal grinder, you need to buy silicon carbide wheel for it.
If you've got a decent bench grinder you've got everything you need fella.
You can check the angle if you hold the business end of drill bit between 2 nuts :eek it forms the correct angle 120 degrees.

Treat everything in life the way a dog would- if you can't eat it or foc it, forget it.
Thats a pretty good idea :thumbup
Thanks for the help so far, looks like i need a silicon carbide wheel, mine is more like a grinding stone and a bit rough.
I have seen in the past an all in one thing where I can just poke the bit into it, but thinking they are probably rubbish.

it'll be fine if you are careful. Sharpen drills all the time at work on shitty indented grindstones due to welders sharpening their tungsten tips.
JUST WEAR EYE PROTECTION.
