padded cycling shorts do improve comfort imho,not a cure but a vast improvement,get some from china via ebay 2 pairs for less than a tenner,or aldi £12 or summit like that,sports direct are about £15 for muddy fox 1's a pair
canny bit cheaper than a new seat

I think the main problem is the seat tends to make you slide into the tank
