Happy :faz birthday Mr Sharp.

I should look out my V5 to check mines but your servants have obviously been busy on your bike and it'd put mine to shame Sad

Its not actually quite that good in real life and closer inspection.
Its just a nice bright photo with good lighting

Also only 19k miles and the last 15k of them since I have owned it for the last 15 years and have all been dry ones from me.

Forks have the chipped lacquer white worm syndrome, a few scratches on the mirrors and exhaust from where I used to keep it in a tight spot between two walls, crankcase scratched from when I dropped - more put it down, whilst wheeling it (before the lower guards were added ) --- And why they were added. Carb rubbers getting close to needing replacing.

Bloody hell man, that's in phenomenal condition - it must take the patience of a saint to keep the exhaust, the exhaust nuts and the engine block so clean and shiny !

So, should we rename May the 5th as St Fazersharp Day and see if we can get it made a public holiday.

Keeping it clean is easier when you don't ride in the rain --- or even wet roads, I have only just repainted the downpipes and there is two little holes in the collector that I have filled for now. Proof that what ever the weather you ride in - your downpipes will rot.

More water passes through your exhaust than it will ever see on the outside.

I'll have a stand going free sometime (won't reach the floor once my new shock's in) which you can have if you want it, its rusty but complete, you'll have a spare while painting/powder coating one of them
Complete fabrication, I didn't make it up!

fazersharp you have definitely set the benchmark. now I know what I have to strive for. Mine will be 15 on 1st July but has done its share of all weather commuting now showing 51,800 miles.

Thanks for the stand offer but as mine is in fairly good condition and just needs some paint, Im sure that someone will be asking has anyone got a stand sooner or later due to theirs completely rusting, I think they maybe a more worthy recipient than me

Miles divided by years x by the square route of all weather riding I think yours may be in better condition
