Hey all!
I've just signed up to this site as I found some useful info on it whilst searching the web for a centre stand stop bracket for my FZ1, as I'm picking up a second-hand Akrapovic can which didn't have one included.
My name is Dave, live in Hertfordshire and commute into Central London every day with the wife on the back! Some pics of my bike below!
My previous bikes include a Yamaha RXS100, Honda CD250, Honda Hornet 600, Honda CBR600RR and now my FZ1. I've been riding for 10 years, since I was 16. Also have full car license, having just last year sold my 1995 classic Mini. I have a new MINI (2011) now but we won't talk about that :lol
It's a 2008 model, with a number of mods since I bought it in July last year. It already had the belly pan, tail tidy and R&G crash bungs, but I've added heated grips (great for UK weather..!), R&G bobbins, bar ends, braided lines, tinted lenses, Powerbronze seat, SP Engineering can etc.
I currently have some new graphics on the front of the bike though, and (like I said) an Akra can on the way :b
Hi and welcome, I have an Akrapovic fitted, the centre stand stop you want looks like this.
I think you can get one from Akrapovic, someone else on here got one from them, but they are not cheap.

Thanks! Yes, I've ordered one now. I'm getting the Akra can for a decent price so didn't mind paying a little bit more for the right centre stand stop kit

Cheers! Sunny Wales... haha! I've ridden to Glanamman, Ammanford twice in the past few years for a biker's weekend camping.. and both times it's been rain rain rain for the return journey. I have had a few days of nice sunshine there though so can't complain too much [/size] Some pics from that (my old CBR600 RR)

Ah ha.. YOU'RE HERE :lol

Haha!! Well... this is Fazer owners club - not Wife owners club! :rollin
Only got married in June 2015, and bought the Fazer a month later as we both work in Central London, living on the North London/Hertfordshire border, and my CBR600RR just wasn't cutting it with 2-up and filtering. The Fazer is also more comfy for her, and gave me an excuse to get my first litre bike :evil

Hmmm, A Wife owners club, not a bad idea, we could exchange hints and tips on maintenance, upgrades, problems, buy and sell and how to upgrade them.

Welcome to the forum!
I remember your post on another forum when you first got your FZ1.
Am glad you are still enjoying it :thumbup
Thanks! Yes, still very much enjoying it
My new (to me) Akra can went on this weekend, along with a little wash and some new tank grips. It sounds great!! A little quieter than my previous can, but a deeper noise and seems to have made the pull away from idle a little nicer (might just be in my head, of course!).
