According to this, drivers who also held a motorcycle insurance policy were 23% less likely on average to make a claim on their policy Wink...

It won't make any difference, they'll never offer us a discount because they're a bunch of money grabbing foccers! :o
It'd be good if they could offer policies to cover car and bike together though  Smile

Their so called intelligence systems that make each quote unique to an individual based on that individuals actual risk will not allow them to consider things that reduce risk, only things that increase the risk.

Yes, You end up doing all the admin work for them and they still use any excuse they can find not to pay out!
Latest one on telephone quotes is to ask if you've been on a 'speed awareness course' cheeky foccers!
Treat everything in life the way a dog would- if you can't eat it or foc it, forget it.

Speed awareness courses are not meant to count against you but insurance companies will use them against you.

ok so if I had points they are active on my licence for 3 years and wiped off after 4 but we have to declare the last 5 years worth... why ?

also (as far as I am aware and standby to be corrected!) you can only do 1 speed awareness course every 3 years - so I suppose it's like having the points time frame wise! so why would an insurance company need to know if they are not "live"?

If you fail to tell then or avoid the question would that invalidate your insurance? how can they prove it? if they can prove it then why do they need to ask you?

It ain't what you ride, it's who you ride with!!!
