I've visited these forums once in a while whilst I had my FZS600, moved to the FZ1 just recently, had an issue, foc sorted me out, so here I am to say Thanks 

I've had a few bikes, mainly Yams and a brief love affair with a Duke III but it was 'complicated'

As you can see the FZ1 is pretty much bone stock so I am looking forward to digging in to the great advice available here and hopefully getting to know a few of you along the way!

hi , hello, what age is the bike?

how does it ride in its standard form?

It's an '08.

It scoots along fine on my morning commute,  however with small throttle openings there's a flatspot around 3k. I'm used to more low to mid pull but that's probably me. Does strike me as a little greedy on a rideout though!

Having just made the switch from the Duke and the issues that particular bike had the FZ1 has me in a happy place and if it ain't broke...
