Hi guys.

Just recently passed my big bike test after having been riding my 125 for the last couple of years and ended up buying myself an FZ6 2004 as my first bike.

I must say its a very comfortable bike and a great riding position for my lanky legs and Im really enjoying it so far Smile

Looking forward to picking all your brains with alsorts of problems and questions over the coming weeks Wink

Thanks for having me!

nice to see another FZ6, good choice, had mine from new in 06 44,000 on the clock, plenty enough power when you get it revving at 9 thou. plus. lol.

Really enjoying the bike so far, especially the riding position.  Still just trying to take it easy with it being my first big bike and only passing my test a few weeks back.

Hopefully if the weather plays ball this weekend will be my first group ride out which Im looking forward to  Big Grin

Only little niggle I have is it sounds as though theres a slight tinny rattling sound/exhaust blowing that appears around 4-5k rpm which I cant bloody suss out what it is and its driving me mad haha

Shes a 2004 with almost 35k on the clock so not immaculate. Are there any things I should be looking out for around this sort of mileage?

Thanks for looking guys!

Kind regards.

35k is not high miles at all make sure you change the oil regulary and everything will be fine.
