Hi not been on in a while, unfortunately had to sell my beloved Mk1 Fazer 1000 to pay for a divorce. I am now searching for a replacement, will consider any colour, mileage preferably between 10 and 20k but must be very clean...preferably mint. Cash is waiting for the right bike. I got up at five this morning to go and view a bike in Scotland with a view to buying, the way it had been described made this a bit of a formality I was gonna have it. So get five miles outside Carlisle from Manchester to receive a text saying he had changed his mind, he wasn't selling...and was very sorry. I wasn't best pleased really...so the search goes on. Went to look at the one in Chorley expecting something really nice considering one owner and quite low mileage. It was your typical un-loved bike used in all weather and just stuck back in the garage, dropped both sides various marks all over....a bit to far gone, it was for me anyway...loads of bids on it though.
All sorted, went over to Maghull this morning to view a Fazer 1000. Lordy I thought my old Fazer was clean...not compared to this thing. A member of the forum Gary Mc Donough was selling it to fund another bike. Now I am a bit picky, maybe a little over anal about my bikes, and invariably I am usually disappointed when I view bikes described as mint...but this thing is MINTAROONEY, 5k and almost totally standard, no exaggeration its the best Fazer I have ever seen, it should really be in a museum. I didn't think there were any Fazers like this still around anymore. Gary was on the list to get it Ivanised next year so hopefully I can take his place. Gary and his family are lovely folks and were a pleasure to do business with. Its great to be back in the fold...I dint arf miss my Fazer. Thanks to the folks who tried to help me find a new bike, I am chuffed to bits.

I love it, when I had my Galaxy Blue one I always quietly lusted after this colour with the matching belly pan. All it needs now is a decent pipe, Ivans and good quality rear shock. It wont really get used now until next season so theres no mad rush. I have had over the years just about everything but nothing fits like the Fazer.
