Dead battery?

I picked up a Yuasa online for £44 which is now fitted and all seems well again. I think i will keep an eye on this one  and plug it in to an Optimate when not being used for a period and hopefully it will last a while.

As Noggy said if you don't use it for long periods in the winter , take it off and store it indoors , the combination of cold weather and not being used very often kills the batteries .

I give up, I have been on here 3 years.    the same people give different advise, ...take it to bed with you,  I have heard the best way is to strap it to a camels back, and send it to mars,.

You heard wrong. The best way is to strap it to a camel toe and keep it warm
