Custom comfy seat suggestions
#1
Following a recent trip to Europe on my newly aquired Fazer 1000, I've found it to be very satisfactory in all departments apart from the seat on long journeys, can anyone recommend anywhere which will custom make me a seat so it's as comfortable as possible? I'm getting old and decrepit nowadays and need the comfort, thanks.

I've just ordered mine from here as you can have it built to your own spec. http://www.topsellerie.co.uk/
I could change my opinion, but then we'd both be wrong.

Had one for my Tiger done by Dave Digger - cracking seat. There's a foccer on here who bought one from him at Weston bike night. Comes in at around £140 exchange.

I have a Tony Archer seat on my Gen1 (courtesy of the previous owner) and I've never had any seating issues even on 5 hour stints - it's usually my neck or head that go first (stupid helmet...)

two words memory foam, I have had bad expierence with memory foam, (two Words) fat bastard.
I was looking on the Sargents seats website, I have had one of there seats on an Z1000SX and it was a fantastic product. I think they are taking the piss now though for the seats for the FZ1 Main &Pillion £350.00 bugger that. I do know people who have used Tony Archer for seat mods, never heard a bad word said about him or his workmanship.

Thanks Frosties! Actually in regards to the Diggers seats, ive heard some mixed revues from the guys on the ZRX forum, some good, some a bit disappointed. But then again the seat on a ZRX12 looks comfy but without a doubt the most painful thing ever after an hours riding, im sure I bruised my arse when I went to Corsica on it. So he probably had his work cut out making them comfy.
