Double Bubble Or Touring Windscreen
#1
Hi

I am wanting to get a windscreen for my trip to Germany, ive been looking at a few double bubble screens and a few touring ones

I believe the touring ones offer the most protection, but I don't want something that looks cr*p, but then again I don't want to get one that doesn't offer much wind protection

A few of the ones I have been looking at are (all double bubble)

MRA Double Bubble Racing Screen- http://www.bikehps.com/acatalog/Yamaha_F...#aCOL54435

PowerBronze Double Bubble Screen- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130823597091?s...1423.l2649

Puig Double Bubble Screen- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181283822382?s...1423.l2649

I think the MRA and Puig look like they offer the best wind protection, but cant be sure.

Does anyone have any of these screens or have had one in the past? Or can anyone offer any other suggestions?

I believe a persons height can affect it, so im about 6ft it that's of any use!

Thanks

Matt

Don't know about the FZ6, but I've tried touring screens on my Gen2, and my Tiger 1050. They were both very noisy for me!! I used D/B screens on a few bikes over the years, I've found them a really good compromise.

It's personal choice, and I believe there's a few on here use tall screens with good results. I've got a stubby screen on my Gen2 which I think is brilliant (clean air, no turbulence), and a D/B on the Thundercat which does the job well.
Stop polishing it and ride the bloody thing!!
