Not me this time, a day out with the family calls on Sunday.  I am getting to take the bike out today though  Smile , only over to Canterbury, I'm singing in a concert this evening.

Nice blast down to Rye Harbour, not too much traffic, lots of bikes out.

From Rye we went to Hedcorn Aerodrome for a classic tractor show, don't ask it was Dazza's idea, watched some skydivers but then whilst sipping my southern shandy a Spitfire decided to drop in and carry out a number of very low, and I mean low, flypasts with some aerobatics thrown in, god what a sight and sound.

Another blast through the lanes upto Herne Bay to watch some totty before a quick blast to Whitstable for shellfish and more totty watching.

Finally a further blast through the lanes before parting company with Dazza at the M2, a quick motorway blast home to Essex. Did about 260 miles total, the final 60 odd motorway miles at high speed used almost a half tank of fuel.

Dazza has some photos and a video of the spitfire.

All in all a cracking day out, thanks to Dazza for leading

Ah yes,  those classic tractors were something to behold.  Slightly spoilt by some hoorah Henry doing victory rolls and vertical climbs right above our heads.  Smile
