avon storm 3d xm/free fitting offer is still on

Hi all,for those who have yet to fit  your new tyres I went to Wheel House Tyres in Coleshill today to  have a least 1 tyre fitted,on the way there I was thinking i just have a pair of Avon Storm Ultra fitted as I used them since the Storm range came out with no problems at all,if I had fitted the older Storms Ultra it would have cost £118 fitted but the quote for the Storm 3d xm fitted with the Avon free fitting was £114! With the new Storms 3d xm fitted the bike felt good from the word go,i only done 20 miles on them but yes I recommend them as I think they may well turn out to be  better tyre than the older Storms ,i post again in a week or so if anybody intrested,cheers Steve

Are you saying they are £4 cheaper with free fitting?

Hiya,yes Avon have extended there free fitting offer as last week the quote was £144 fitted for a pair of Storm 3d xm,not sure how long the new offer is on for but i put  120 miles on the tyres today & real real happy with them as the turning in seems a lot better & smoother even compared to my old Storm when they were new,cheers Steve

Hi again,i don't post very often as not to good as with my emails! to clarify as my last post my confuse people <at the moment Avon have reinstated the free fitting offer on the new Storm 3d xm so you should be able to fit a pair of Storm 3d xm for £114 but it should be around £118 if you fit the older Storm Ultra as there is no free fitting offer with them so they work out more! cheers Steve Ps my bike is the older fazer 1000 <fzs1000>
