Tony Archer vs Gel
#21
Smile  Oh Yes Jon .. in fact .. I was even younger than that for a few years.

Back in the class of 1956 I was still 16 .. far Right in old photo .. however .. in those days we did have to kind of 'grow up' a bit swift like  :eek  .  I recon it's a pity that All lads don't get such a good start off the grid these days.  :\

Stay Safe  Wink  Trev.

MOT today so while out took a couple of pics of the seats for you mr tailgate. I don't like fancy so asked for plain & simple.

They are very comfortable. Btw, tried a gel insert on the gen1 & it didn't help so tried them all.

I've received a refoamed seat yesterday (seat was done in just 3 days!) and what a relief! After riding with it this morning i can say it makes so much difference. It does make it higher as expected slightly altering riding position. I feel as if i'm more leaning forward but same time lighter on arms. I'll need more time getting used to this new position but overall am well chuffed. 60 quid well spent.
P.s. thx for the pics Jeff, got the same design as yours with non-slip.

Hello smegfish. Have you got any pictures of your bike/seat from the side please? I have a spare seat I would like to send off but hoping to keep the look of the original if possible. Those humps on yours look very big from that angle?

I had mine done by Digger seats in Newport, Graham most of these guys will make the seats to your specification.

I had the riders area extended and about two inches added to the seat height.

smegfish, did you drop your seat in and collect it later or did you hang around while tony worked on it?

Brilliant. Thank you so much for that. Think I will go with something a bit more slender.  8)
