Nearly there....

Had the bike a few years now. Standard when I got it, few changes here and there and now its nearly perfect. Just the cramped leg riding position to sort now. Have tried a higher seat but I need some sort of forwards to stretch legs on long journeys, any ideas?

Where the crash bungs are normally bolted on, this guy fitted an additional pair of footrests (POST #34)

Obviously no rear brake or gearchanges while feet out front, but would help with cruising

I got a set of these from ebay, about £30, very well made and adjustable

Thanks for the ideas. I am not sure lower/adjustable footrests are the way I want to go,just need somewhere to stretch my legs out after about 100 miles to let the blood flow. Riding position is ok normally.
Kebabs idea is great but as my bike has engine bars on I dont think it will work, will definatley check that out though next time I get it out.

I know what you mean. did 250 miles on Saturday. I stick my feet forwards & rest my calves on the crash bungs for a while.

I've struggled to keep up with Kosmic Kartman and he has Justy 1000's Stainless Steel crash bungs and uses them as forward footrests. Not sure about crash bars though?

Any chance of some pictures of your bike with the bars, I've been thinking about getting some for a while but worried it nights spoil the look?

Fireblake: Look at the picture on the first post and you will see the bike with the bars fitted. I find they look ok but I guess not everyone cup of tea.
They do reduce the options available though to fit forwards by the look of things.
