The main limit that catches people out is the van limits, especially 'car-derived' vans as they still have the 50mph limit on single carriageways and 60mph on dual carriageways.

you must be built like Ogri if you can carry a fazer 600 on your shoulder from Portsmouth to redruth  :rollin :rollin

Red. She could tow with a B licence but there are tighter weight limits than you have with B+E

My Mrs is the same but she has the full B+E and I don't trust her to tow anything

I did b + e when i was 19,about 2001,not many folks realise you need it.i was  a bit miffed to see that it has changed now & i  probably didnt need to complete it.oh well it was good practice :\

In true army style i then did my LGV, then almost straight after my HGV.surely it woulda saved them money to just put me through my HGV at the start :rolleyes

It's true though that the longer the trailer the easier it is to manoeuvre, does my head in trying to reverse my little bike trailer, proper on a knife edge between turning each way or going straight.

Another thing they didnt teach me was to never trust halfords to give you the trailer number plate that you ordered,it seems ive been driving around with the wrong plate for quite a while.plus it was my missus that noticed ha ha :lol
Easiest way to go fast........don't buy a blue bike
