Got a blueflame for mine and test fitted it the other day, it was spot on. The link pipe looks quite long but slides quite a bit into the can.
Sorry I'd post up some pics but it's off the bike again while I'm sorting the rear brake hose etc. was just easier to have it off and out the way.
Chris
I found that too. The problem (or one of them at any rate) I'm having is with the bracket off the footrest - I've had to jack it out for it to fit.
Just to confirm - the bracket "sandwiches" the hanger peg, right?

Christo just my tuppence worth here as my Simmi can was a little bit fiddly, perhaps the blue flame Hanger is different to the Simmi one but for what it's worth mine didnt 'sandwich' the footrest hanger, both sides of the hanger go on the outside of the footrest hanger.Jones the steam advised a good method of using a wooden batton to whack the link pipe further onto the downpipes as my link can didnt go flush to the end of the tapered downpipe section (like the original)
I then kept having to take off the link pipe & twist it round slightly to get the right angle for the end can bracket to line up properly & to be honest, kneeling directly behind the bike i had to then pull down on the can with quite some force to get it lined up before slamming the bolt through.

The problem is that no matter how hard we tried, the hanger was never ever going to have both sides on either side of the footrest. Though, my Beowulf can does have both on the outside like your Simmi
