That picture shows that the rubber has gone brittle... :eek Meaning it will give zero grip as it's lost all pliability. Throw in bin and get some nice new rubber and transform your bike

They were on my bike when I brought it brand new in August 2008 and they have now done just over 5000miles....

By the way, the is a manufacture date is on the side wall, it is a four digit number, first two are the week, second two are the year, so 2007 is the 20th week in 2007.
