Well the weather was almost ok, a bit drizzly but its fantastic riding this bike i had to get on it,

and also i needed a new pair of shoes and did not want to go to the mother inlaws.

The road crap was bad, salt n all

so on the way back i called in a Halfrauds and bought some of their wash off cleanser and a nice bristly long brush.

Gave it a good cleanse and wash n wax and power hosed it off.

The ride was brill, had to be very careful with the throttle, :eek

The bike is really bursting with power , the mid range is great, twist n go.

I also recieved on of them anti fog inserts from Oxford products ,

And they really do work brilliant, not one fog issue at all. just kept a tissue handy in the tank bag pocket to wipe the road crap off.

The insert goes on the inside and selff adheres to the visor, absolutely a must for winter riding and no visability probs at all.

I did 63 miles and loved it thanks to the heated grips too.

Ive always wondered why ships captains dont wear helmets with anti fog inserts

They could do away with all those expensive fog horns and radars then :b

Dya reckon i cud get money for that idea, dragons den maybe?
Easiest way to go fast........don't buy a blue bike

yes i have always had trouble with misting up but now the problems solved, Smile

Also this bike had a hideous high touring screen which put tyhe wind straight into your face making alot of noise so

i have also chopped the screen down to get some clean air on me, it seems to have worked quite well.

i agree slimwilly. if its dry cold don't matter. just wish some of my mates thought the same altho in their defence most of them are couriers who ride in the week for work and we cant assume that they are bikers at heart, just that they work on a bike.
