First post with an ad is not considered cricket. There's a community here, built up over years and when someone registers only to post an ad, its met with distrust. If your looking to post an ad there's plenty of places for it. But if you are going to do it here, its generally accepted that you ingratiate yourself to the community and contribute something other than trying to get money out of them without as much as an introduction or post elsewhere.

The dating comment is a bit flippant as well considering its not the fucking auto trader website either, its a bit club. Not an auction. a club. With the only fee being a contribution to the community in some form. Even if its just a hello

Well there's plenty clubs that I'm sure you'd like to be a part of out there so charge on. I'm sure they'll like to take a subs off you and make you pay for all the good stuff that you would get regarding servicing, maintenance, skills, apparel and various other stuff. No need to say hello cos the credit card is king.

Or alternatively, mcn, auto trader and a shitload of others do ads for a premium and you can oeep yourself to yourself. With a fee.

It's free here but there's gotta be a bit of etiquette and decorum before you batter in and say "great fazer, braw exhaust, hugger, 2 grand. Phone here...."

Aside from that. You are trying to sell a fazer on a fazer forum. Do you go into McDonald's and try sell them a big mac without doing a bit of legwork and at least making an appointment?


Think about it. Know your customer. Make inroads. Cold calling is bollocks. A prep is dynamite.
