Brake Light wont turn off

Hi Everyone
Just washed my new steed and the brake light wont turn off :wall , Ive dried the bike off sprayed electrics with wd40 and no Joy.  Anyone experienced this thanks for any help in advance.

chances are there is still water in the switch,too much wd40 can also have the same affect as i found out a few years a go

I havent actually taken apart the rear light assembly so I have no idea if what im about to say next is even relevant, BUT...

Most vehicles ive seen this happen to is a result of a connection coming loose (obviously not the power). The result is a safety measure I guess, they assume that having the break lights on permenantly is better than having them off permenantly Tongue

In any case, I could very well be wrong but its possibly somewhere to look if it doesnt go away.

Wire on rear light switch had come loose whilst bathing the beast :b :b  all sorted now what a great forum..

That must be why people drive round witth the f*cking fog lights on ... In case it gets foggy unexpectedly.  :rolleyes

I hate the twats who drive with their side lights on in the fog.What do they think when they see another moron suddenly appear out of the mist with just their side lights on too?,,the fuckers.
