I have an ECG at the hospital, so go on the bike, free parking and no queueing!

How did hospital appointment go, all good ?

Seeing the specialist this Thursday.
Should be an interesting appointment.

My ECG follow up appointment was conducted over the phone after several cancellations by the NHS. This resulted in a minor operation, which was followed up with a phone call 9 months later. Good job I was still alive to answer the phone Big Grin

Ain’t that the truth, sadly. I’ve just received an appointment for my next check up, which consists of being asked how I am and told to keep taking the pills. It’s another phone call in April 2027. Oh well, no news is good news hopefully in my case.

Glad you got away with no serious injury, shame about the bike though. Is it viable to repair yourself after the insurance has been settled. After my crash the other year, that was the route I took, and worked out fine. Took a bit of patience but was all good in the end.

It would need frame checking to ensure straight, headstock check , new yokes, forks, complete front fairing in the nice gold colour....... or could buy the one thats on fleebay and recreate my bike. Lots of choices. Thanks for the kind messages.

What a shame, I feel your pain. Big difference I guess between hitting a car, and a bush in my case. Must be worth buying the salvage if it’s not too expensive maybe.

Thats not the worst idea I've heard and buy the other, sounds like a plan. Just wait and see what they offer .
