Hi all,
I have a 1999 gold fzs 600 boxeye model. I bought it from a good dealer in Newbury a few years ago and only rode it a few thousand miles. Very low genuine miles with paper work to prove it, I have added a rear hugger in black and crash bobbins, it starts first time every time, sounds great. Unfortunatly I moved to Cornwall and my new adress doesn't have any where for me to store it and I surf more than I ride it. I left it on centre stand on an incline back when it was strong wind like an idiot and it blew over in the night, the damage is light and cosmetic only. The tank has a dent, I have replaced the handlebars, the front fairing is cracked but has been plastic soldered and the rear left cowling has a scuff on it. The engine was untouched proved by the lack of an damage to the engine bobbins. I didn't claim on insurance because I new it could be restored for about £300 and being a young rider I figured the insurance premium rise wouldn't be worth it. It still rides perfectly anyway and the damage isn't all that noticeably at first glance.
