All the details of the "crash" are on the site including photos of the damage if I remember. Bike stationary and car tapped the mudguard at under 5mph. Just enough to make me lose balance and drop it.
If you think for a fleeting moment that it damaged the frame from that your nuts.
This bike has been on this site since shortly after I got it. Nothing is being hidden or lied about.
4Th cat bike I have owned and never had trouble with insurance with any company I have used . and yes it's always been declared same as most of the mods.
Bennits said they pay 80% on cat bikes in the event of a full claim and 100% on partial claims. So not sure where you get 40% from
But more importantly, I'm not asking you to buy it or even forcing you to pay 2000 for it. So rather than try to screw with a sale your not interested in maybe you should keep your opinion about my sale to your self rather than imply I'm a liar.

The hiding info and bent frame remarks were made in a different post and I don't like to pollute other people's posts unless I'm doing it for their benefit.
The edit was title changed from sold to still for sale, also making clearer the actual damage caused i.e. mudguard replaced and the 2nd edit was lowering price to match the New eBay buy now.
I haven't forced anyone to purchase the bike and the buyer that pulled out hasn't been slagged off, he pulled out because I didn't place in the add it was a cat bike. In all honesty as I wrote the eBay add it didn't even cross my mind that it was a cat bike. It happened years ago and hasn't been an issue. But the seller was shown the scratch and told how it happened.
He then offered to continue the sale at a much reduced price. A lower price than I am willing to accept. Hence the seller low balling the price.
The price hike on insurance is because of a claim not the bike. My van and other bike insurance also went up due to that no fault claim and my old van getting written off while parked up at my house.
Doesn't matter if you keep your no claims bonus (i did in both cases) you have to declare a claim in the last 5 years with most company's even if it was in another class of vehicle or truck v bike.
The issue with the insurance company was simply because I had a full claim so the policy ended. At the time I thought it was they wouldn't insure that bike. And was kinda pissed at that. What it actually was is they wouldn't let that policy continue for the rest of that year.
I'm not sure why people feel the need to find fault and try to tear down a sale when they are not even interested in it.
