Newbie in Southampton

Hi All,

New to this site and very new to biking. Passed my DAS course last October and only just picked up my first bike yesterday, a Fazer 600 2002. It's currently restricted as the lad I bought it from had an A2 licence, so I will look to take that off soonish although I have no idea where to start.
I will be riding it around my local area until I'm a bit more confidant on it, then I will be using it for the commute to work and back. Any tips and hints are appreciated :-)

nice bike, my bike was restricted for two years,  take it easy when first taken off there is a wapping difference.  i was wheeling down the road at 70,  with a big grin on my face.
